Created for the exhibition Billedbærer at Bladr - Platform for art books 2022. 
Subsequently, the book was selected for "The best book work of the year 2022" by the Association for Book Crafts, exhibited at the Royal Library, The Black Diamond Sept/Nov 2022.
 101 photographs with different representational status are printed on white 80gr. paper in A4. The prints are intuitively selected in piles and have been soaked in water. They are then blended into paper pulp, for several seconds, and made into new paper sheets in A4. The result are 22 handmade papers in total. During the production of the handmade papers the images are photographed in the blender. This creates a collage of images seen through the glass in the blender.
For each blended paper in the book is written how many seconds it was blended, and at the back of the book is an index of the 101 images with an overview of which images have been blended.
The book contain 55 unique pages which are glued and hand bound 26.5x34.5 cm.

Blue Cards– archive of missing museum objects (an excerpt)


* no. 72 (In danish:&#38;nbsp;Blå kort -arkiv over forsvundne museumsgenstande (et uddrag))&#38;nbsp;takes a discerning look and delves down into a group of suspension files containing a large number of the cards which, in professional museum terminology, are referred to as “blue cards”. 

These are preprinted cards in landscape A4 format, and they are used – or perhaps it’s more correct to say, they were used – by museums, in connection with registering incoming articles and effects that were slated to be placed in a museum’s collection. 

The cards typically include blank spaces for the descriptions of the articles’ origin, function, and materiality, as well as blank fields for introducing the articles into the museums’ shared classifications and systematics, following the precepts of the “Professional Registry for Cultural Historical Museums” (Saglig registrant for kulturhistoriske Museer) also known as “The Green Registry” (Den grønne registrant)

This collection of blue cards stems from the Psychiatric Museum of Nykøbing Sjælland, with which Myne Søe-Pedersen has previously been working, in pieces like Means of Escape, 2020, and Stage, 2020.

What’s so distinctive about this particular collection of blue cards is that the articles and effects about which the cards contain information are gone. No longer can any of these articles be found. In other words, this is an index to records of a collection that does not exist.

The following text is presented alongside the images:

“I started working with And Her Hair Was Covered with Leaves in 2015 and completed it in January 2020. During these five years, I have periodically returned to the two forests Anneberg Forest and Ulkerup Forest, which are both situated nearby the closed psychiatric hospital in Nykøbing Zealand, where my sister was a patient for at period of time. 
Anneberg forest is right next to the big hospital area, which has therefore been called "the city behind the forest". Ulkerup forest is located behind the house my sister used to live in. Her house was isolated from other houses and her backyard had direct access to the forest.
I buried a large number of 8x10 ” color negatives in both forests during the time period. 
This was in the dark months between November and February. They were buried in the dark and retrieved in the dark. The negatives were put in transparent plastic bags and placed in the soil for varying periods of time, between 20 minutes and up to 72 hours. Some were dug down 10-40 cm and others were placed on the forest floor, lightly covered by leaves and exposed by the moonlight. These different conditions, as well as variations in the light, had an effect on the arbitrary and diverse exposure of the negatives. 

Subsequently, contact prints of the negatives were made in the color darkroom. In the color darkroom, there must be complete darkness. The negatives are therefore blindly placed on the paper, and subsequently exposed and developed”

Scanned punctuation marks, enlarged to the average size of a finger print.
The eleven marks are all the full stops from a handwritten letter that the artist's sister wrote while she was a patient in a psychiatric hospital.

A two-part series of images investigating objects from the museum of 


a closed psychiatric hospital in Northern Zealand.&#38;nbsp;The objects are photographed hanging on the wall in the museum in order to include nails and holes, using a 4x5” camera to obtain complete sharpness.

At the now closed psychiatric hospital in Northern Zealand, a theatre stage with a number of home-made backgrounds remains. The video records the manual changing of backgrounds and the squeaks and creases it produces.

		<description>Scanned Glass Plates.&#38;nbsp;2018. 23x32 cm. Unique.
A series of images based on glass that has been cut in 4x5” – the size of the glass plate negatives used in a 4x5” box camera. The photographic glass plate technique was used as one of the first ways to make photographs in the late 19th century. 
The stack of glassplates is examined as an object, moving from three-dimensional to two-dimensional by virtue of the scanner. Changes in color and the degree of opacity are dependant on the hight and placement of the glassplates. The printed images are showing the actual size of the glass plates.
